Position Overview:
VCPG is seeking professional, high-caliber Armed Residential Security Agents for a full-time overnight assignment. This is not a passive “observe and report” position. Agents must demonstrate maturity, sound judgment, accountability, and a service-oriented mindset while maintaining a visible yet respectful protective presence in a residential environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide armed residential protection during overnight hours.
- Conduct structured patrols and manage access control.
- Maintain strong situational awareness and threat-informed posture.
- Interact professionally with residents, staff, and authorized guests.
- Document incidents, observations, and shift activity accurately and thoroughly.
- Operate in strict compliance with California law, BSIS standards, and VCPG SOPs.
- Maintain weapon discipline, uniform standards, and professional demeanor at all times.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid California CCW Permit.
- Valid California Exposed Firearm Permit.
- Valid California Guard Card.
- Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Clean professional record suitable for armed residential assignments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Former law enforcement.
- Military veteran.
- Prior executive protection or residential security experience.
- Demonstrated reliability and performance on night shift.
